LFF, Oudomxay hold football event for Women’s Day
The Lao Football Federation (LFF) and Oudomxay province’s Football Federation on Monday held a football event for 120 girls from primary and secondary schools.
The event took place at the province’s main football stadium to celebrate International Women’s Day.
The activity took the form of training, followed by a friendly match, and was supported by the Asian Football Confederation.
The girls enjoyed the event and took part with enthusiasm.
The activity was attended by the President of Oudomxay province’s football federation Mr Houmphan Inthamoungkhoun, officials from the provincial Education and Sports Department and the Lao Football Federation, and schoolteachers.
On March 4, the Federation also held grassroots football events for boys and girls in Xaysomboun and Saravan provinces.
From March 8-13, the LFF “D” Certificate coaching course will be held in Borikhamxay province, while the same course will be taught from March 9-12 in Xekong province.
This will be followed by similar courses from March 15-18 in Attapeu and Xieng Khuang provinces.
LFF “D” Certificate coaching courses will be taught in other provinces in the future.
