Saravan selects top golfers to compete at National Games

Saravan province’s Golf Federation recently held its annual golf competition - titled the Governor of Saravan province’s Cup - for beginners and senior officials.
The federation hoped to build friendship among golfers and give them match experience.
However, the main aim of the event was to select the province’s best players to compete at the 11th National Games, to be hosted by Xieng Khuang province in December.
At the beginner level, golfers played in groups A, B and C, while senior officials competed in the VIP group.
The tournament was attended by the Governor of Saravan province, Dr Phoxay Sayasone, young golfers and business operators.
The winner of each group received a cup at the end of a tournament that was enjoyed by all participants, and now look forward to further success at the National Games.
