“JDS Scholar Reported the Research Outcome in Japan”

What is JDS Project?
The Project for Human Resource Development Scholarship by Japanese Grant Aid (JDS) was launched in 1999 to support the human resource development of the Japanese grant aid recipient countries. JDS targets the young government officials who are expected to play a leadership role in the development of their countries and offers 2-year Master’s courses / 3-year PhD courses at Japanese Universities in English.

In Laos, up to the present, 454 fellows have studied in Japan. The Fellows acquire specialised knowledge and skills in various fields such as public administration, law, economics, agriculture, engineering, education, health, etc. Many JDS returned fellows were promoted to higher positions and they are playing important roles in their organisations.
