Od Barber provides free haircuts

Od Barber provided free haircuts last week to people who visited Lao ITECC to help the public save money amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
Ten barbers who are training at the outlet, both men and women, showcased their haircutting skills.
Mr Od from Od Barber said he appreciated having the chance to bring students from his shop to provide free haircuts to people who visited Lao ITECC. It was also a good opportunity for the new barbers to practice their skills, he said.
Od Barber has provided free haircut services to many schools in and outside Vientiane to help parents save money amid the pandemic. These services also allowed students from Od Barber to practice their skills outside the classroom.
Mr Od thanked Lao ITECC for providing space to Od Barber for providing free haircuts to help society.
Mr Mee, one of the barbers who provided free haircuts at Lao ITECC, told Vientiane Times that he appreciated having the chance to showcase his skills to the public.
He said he and other barbers provided free haircuts at Lao ITECC for almost two weeks. The service attracted many people, who visited their booth. Mr Mee said he and the other members of the team also appreciated having a chance to help people in this way.
Mr Mee said he had been training at Od Barber for more than two months, and is now preparing to run his own barber shop near Tonkhao Restaurant in Dongkhamsang village of Hadxaifong district. He added that he will open his shop, which will provide haircuts and hair dressing services, after he graduates from Od Barber.
