Laos beauty queen participates in Miss Grand International 2022 in Indonesia

People across Laos are cheering for the Miss Grand Laos 2022, Ms Phoutsavanh Vongkhamxao (Dina), as she participates in the final round of the Miss Grand International 2022 contest in Indonesia today.
The final round of the pageant is being held at the Sentul International Convention Centre in Jakarta.
After arriving in Indonesia to join the activities of Miss Grand International, Ms Phoutsavanh demonstrated her abilities and her confidence while promoting Laos and its culture to the other contestants and audiences.
She is friendly and confident and has a great mindset for showcasing Laos to the international community while at the same time promoting the Miss Grand International contest.
She has been cheered on by Lao fans and foreign fans as well as the media during her participation in various events in Indonesia.
Ms Phoutsavanh has a bachelor’s degree from Australia and is fluent in English. She worked while in Australia to send money to her parents. She decided to join the Miss Grand Laos contest to follow her dream of winning a beauty pageant.
She participated in several activities linked to the Miss Grand International contest and was interviewed along with the other contestants on a leading variety talk show in Indonesia. She joined a fashion walk promoting Muslim brands and showed off her skills at the fashion week in Indonesia.
During the preliminary round of the competition, she appeared on stage in sports wear, an evening gown and the beautiful national costume known as “Mayer Khuan Euai” while taking part in a Baci ceremony, a symbol of harmony that has been performed by Lao people since ancient times to seek blessings for good fortune, health and wealth.
After the preliminary competition showed she was appreciated that she did the best onstage to promote Laos and beautiful culture for foreign eyes. She expects to go deep in the competition top ten, top five and win a crown of Miss Grand international Competition.
After competing in the preliminary round, she received good votes from her Lao and foreign fans and ranked 10th because of all the votes she received from people in 70 countries. Her national costume was included in the top ten of the competition.
Her parents and officials from the Miss Grand Laos organisation have travelled to Indonesia to cheer for her in the final round of the competition.
