China Tourism and Culture Week a great success
The Chinese Cultural Centre in Laos has awarded prizes in a lucky draw held as part of China Tourism and Culture Week, with the draw taking place live on Facebook on Friday.
The lucky draw was one of the highlights of the event, which also featured specially produced online videos about travels through China, which enabled viewers to experience the beauty of China’s scenic landscape and its many landmarks and cultural attractions.
The 10 videos, which were streamed live on Facebook, each lasted eight minutes and gave an overview of Chinese history and the country’s development over a period of 5,000 years.
Viewers were invited to enter a lucky draw on the Facebook page of the China Cultural Centre in Laos by submitting their name and phone number and a photo of their phone screen or computer monitor.
This was done live and viewers could call a given phone number within three minutes to claim a prize if their name was announced.
The Chinese Cultural Centre in Laos opened in November 2014 to teach people about the country’s culture through entertainment and the sharing of experiences, ideas, information and various other promotional activities.
